The Many Areas of the City

Dinh Thong Nhat or Reunification Palace in HCMC.  The statue in front is Ho Chi Minh, who the city was named after.

One little side street with lots of shops and restaurants on the first and second floors; and with rooms for rent on the top floors.

Another unique street--interesting electrical connections!
Many soccer fields in rows with netting to catch the wayward balls.  The fields are all artificial turf.
Yesterday we explored the smaller areas of Ho Chi Minh City.  We ate lunch at a corner Italian food restaurant.  The lasagna was more like a long, stuffed ravioli...but very tasty!
